Fraser Health is seeking a committed Full time Rehabilitation Assistant for Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. This critical role supports patients through Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy interventions.

As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you'll be instrumental in encouraging patient rehabilitation under the supervision of health specialists until May 2027. Your primary duties will include executing treatment plans, observing changes in patients’ conditions, and providing functional skills training. You must be able to effectively communicate and adapt treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out rehabilitative tasks assigned by PT or OT
• Observe and report patient progress changes accurately




• Assist with assistive device training and mobility training
• Prepare and apply therapeutic modalities as needed
• Maintain therapy equipment and keep inventory updated

Requirements:
• Completion of Rehabilitation Assistant training or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively in diverse settings
• Physical stamina to perform essential duties
• Robust organizational skills necessary for the role
• Proficiency in operating therapeutic equipment
