Be a key part of Southpointe Academy as a Part time Educational Support Assistant, enhancing the learning experience for students with special needs. Your focus will be on behavioral support and communication strategies.

In this cooperative role, you will work closely with teachers and families to create inclusive classrooms that nurture independence and academic success. Your experience with students needing special attention, along with your training in behavior management, will be crucial in implementing effective support strategies. This position also involves designing programs tailored to individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers with curriculum accommodation and implementation
• Develop individualized behavior programs in collaboration with educators




• Assist with communication skills and monitor student progress
• Maintain ongoing communication with teachers and support teams
• Execute emergency procedures and ensure student safety

Requirements:
• Successful completion of Educational Assistant program or ABA training
• Excellent interpersonal and adaptability skills
• Experience with students facing communication and behavioral challenges
• Capability to operate various educational and office equipment
• Understanding of secure work practices
