The City of North Bay invites applications for the position of Landfill Attendant – Environmental (Temporary Part time). Reporting to the Landfill Operations Supervisor, the attendant is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring and environmental compliance of the Merrick Landfill Site.
Qualifications Minimum (1) one year diploma in environmental science or related field
Six (6)



months previous Landfill or equivalent acceptable experience
Forklift training certificate
Valid Ontario Class 'G' License.
Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software
Demonstrated ability to deal with the public; positive communication skills
Cash handling experience
Sufficient clerical ability to complete daily reports
