Become an integral part of the YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick as a Child Care Educator. This role focuses on creating a nurturing environment for children aged 12 months to 5 years, emphasizing engagement and safety.
As an essential team member, you will plan and implement enriching programs that cater to children's interests while meeting New Brunswick Child Care standards. Building relationships with families is crucial to create a sense of belonging and security for all children under your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop child-centered programs aligned with the YMCA standards
• Foster individual child and family connections for optimal growth
• Document daily routines accurately and efficiently
• Uphold policies and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Carry out other duties as directed by your supervisor
Requirements:
• 1-year experience in Child Care or Youth programs
• Early Childhood Education Certificate or degree preferred
• Knowledge of Current Brunswick Curriculum Framework welcomed
• Proficiency with computers and software
• First Aid/CPR certification needed
