Take charge as an Operations Specialist focusing on overnight city delivery at our organization. Coordinate routes, manage TMS data, and ensure freight accountability to support seamless operations.
In this dual-function role, you will play a vital part in organizing delivery operations while closely assisting the Dock Supervisor. Candidates should possess solid administrative skills, experience in logistics planning, and a deep understanding of freight flow management. You will be responsible for effective route planning, data management, and effective communication across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze inbound freight volumes for next-day delivery
• Assign routes for over 55 drivers based on various factors
• Input trips into the TMS system and monitor KPIs




• Handle exceptions and reassign freight to meet windows
• Provide clear handover updates after each shift
Requirements:
• 2+ years in LTL dispatch or transportation planning
• Familiarity with the GTA/Southern Ontario delivery network
• Proficient with dispatch/TMS systems and Microsoft Office
• Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills for overnight operations
