The role develops and promote the data practice in alignment with standards through collaboration and provides enterprise guidance on frameworks, patterns, platforms, and data flow from transactional/operational systems to data stores for operational and analytical use within WestJet's data landscape.Key deliverables include:Develops and maintains a stable, viable architecture and ensures consistency of design and adherence to standards across multiple projects or initiatives.Contributes to the development of company objectives and achieves goals in creative and effective ways within domain-specific technology areas.Applies advanced knowledge and is considered a top resource across the organization.Demonstrates expert knowledge in data and a strong understanding of adjacent technologies to develop pragmatic and creative solutions.Acts as a thought leader and is externally recognized as a top go-to individual.Translates highly complex requirements from business and technical teams into objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals.Serves as an advisor to management from projects to strategy levels,
