As a member of the analog team, you'll collaborate with our architects and engineers to develop innovative analog and mixed-signal (AMS) solutions for next-generation optical and wireline communication systems.* We are currently hiring for multiple levels for this role. Your level and compensation will be determined by your experience, education, and location.ResponsibilitiesDesign analog/mixed-signal (AMS) circuits used in control loops, such asdata converters, amplifiers, drivers, comparators, bandgap, and moreSupport micro-architecture development with chip architects by conducting feasibility studiesCollaborate with members of our design engineering teams (system, digital, analog, photonics/laser) to define electrical requirementsDocument design simulations and verifications towards formal design reviewsDrive block-level floorplan, mask design views,



and their reviewsRun post-layout and mixed-signal top-level simulations to validate integrationDefine production and bench-level test plansValidate the performance of the circuits in the labQualificationsMS with 8+ years of relevant experience, OR Ph.D. with 5+ years of industry experience designinganalog and mixed-signal circuitsSolid understanding of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade-offsExperience with Cadence Design EnvironmentExperience in testing analog circuits in a lab environmentAbility to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areasPreferred QualificationsExperience interfacing with Silicon photonics (MZM, Ring) or laser IC is a plusExperience in chip top-level design is a plus#LI-FM1We offer competitive compensation.
