McElhanney is seeking a GIS Analyst for a hybrid role in Calgary. This position focuses on developing cutting-edge geospatial solutions using ESRI ArcGIS and FME technologies.
As a GIS Analyst, you will support backend geodatabase operations and automate data processes within a cooperative team. Your expertise in advanced GIS mapping will be essential as you engage with clients and deliver impactful projects across Western Canada. This position also allows for mentorship opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage backend geodatabase and server operations
• Support data automation and archiving processes with FME Flow
• Deliver GIS mapping and analysis projects for multiple branches
• Design web maps and dashboards for informed decision-making
• Mentor junior staff and enhance GIS methodologies
Requirements:
• Advanced Diploma in GIS or similar field
• At least 5 years of qualified GIS analysis experience
• Expertise in ESRI ArcGIS and FME tools
• Familiarity with GIS web APIs
• Proficiency in coding/scripting languages
