Join YMCA Chetwynd as an Early Childhood Educator, providing enriching experiences for young children. This permanent, full time role includes implementing the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.

In this role, you'll work 40 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday, ensuring a protected and engaging atmosphere for children. Building robust relationships with families and colleagues is essential, as is delivering high-quality programs tailored to children's developmental stages. Your experience in early childhood will be fundamental to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement creative programming for children
• Establish positive relationships with children and their families




• Ensure safety and cleanliness of all learning environments
• Collaborate with teammates for smooth transitions
• Utilize communication app for daily updates to parents

Requirements:
• Basic ECE certification from a recognized program
• Preferred certification as a Special Needs Educator
• Strong verbal and written skills required
• Emergency First Aid and CPR-C certification needed
• Must pass a Criminal Record check
