We are looking for On-Call Teachers who are passionate about childhood education and embody strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidates will focus on emergent learning practices and foster a nurturing atmosphere for children and classroom colleagues. With spacious classrooms offering natural light, you'll contribute significantly to children's educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Encourage children's natural desire to learn through guidance
• Plan engaging, open-ended activities for diverse learners
• Report students’ challenges and successes to the Director
• Supervise classrooms to promote creativity and independent problem-solving
• Assist with children's self-care needs as required
Requirements:
• One year of experience working with children preferred
• Early Childhood Certification - ECE Level 1/2 required
• First Aid Certification (can be obtained upon hire)
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Experience with Reggio-inspired or Montessori methods is a plus
