Reporting to the Program Manager, your role is critical in maintaining organization and safety within the shelter. You will oversee emergency orientations, support residents through their action plans, and facilitate community integration. Weekly shifts vary between morning and evening to accommodate different needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate emergency intake and orientation as needed
• Provide ongoing behaviour management and crisis support
• Collaborate with staff for resident service coordination




• Enforce shelter rules and maintain housing standards
• Support residents with housekeeping and chores
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in related fields required
• 6 months to 1 year experience in relevant support roles
• Familiarity with Toronto's social service systems
• Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours
• Dependable, proactive attitude towards teamwork
