As part of the Engineering and Asset Management team, you will manage track engineering initiatives in alignment with Metrolinx's strategic goals. This role includes leading the development of standards for track design, construction, and maintenance while ensuring adherence to industry regulations. You'll cultivate an creative team setting and foster relationships across divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the creation of current track engineering standards
• Ensure quality assurance for track design and construction
• Act as a subject matter expert for track systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders on standards development
• Manage and enhance team performance and budget
Requirements:
• Applied Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent
• Proven railway engineering experience
• Extensive knowledge of track engineering best practices
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software
• P.Eng. license preferred or ability to obtain
