Positon

We’re looking for a highly creative Growth Graphic Designer to join Pixyls on a freelance, part-time basis.

This is not a traditional production design role. We’re looking for someone who can think strategically about what we should create, develop the concept and messaging, and then execute it.

The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design, photo editing, copywriting, and marketing instincts with an understanding of what makes creative perform in e-commerce.

You’ll work primarily independently, reporting to Rachel, CEO, and Yishow, Growth Designer.

What You’ll Do

Static Ads

* Develop concepts and creative angles for static advertising

* Write headlines, hooks, and supporting ad copy

* Source and select photography and visual assets

* Design polished, performance-focused static ads

* Develop new creative iterations based on marketing needs and performance

Email Marketing





* Help develop the weekly email marketing strategy and campaign calendar

* Concept, design, and write weekly email campaigns

* Build, schedule, and send campaigns

* Develop launch campaigns for new products and collections

* Balance brand storytelling with conversion-focused creative

If position grows into full-time:

Product Page Graphics

* Create graphics and visual assets for product pages

* Develop clear, compelling ways to communicate product features and benefits

Marketing Design

* Create additional digital marketing graphics as needed across the business

* Support current campaigns, launches, promotions, and creative initiatives

What We’re Looking For

You should have a genuine interest in:

* Arts and crafts

* E-commerce and DTC marketing

* Performance marketing

* Social media

* Organic and paid creative

* Understanding why certain creative concepts perform better than others

Requirements

* Degree in Graphic Design or a related design field

* Strong graphic design and photo editing skills

* Excellent creative ideation and concept development skills

* Strong copywriting instincts and native-level English fluency

* Ability to move quickly and consistently from idea to finished creative

* Highly self-directed and comfortable managing your own workload

* Experience with Mailchimp and/or Klaviyo

* Experience designing for e-commerce, paid social, or performance marketing is a strong asset
