Join the University of Manitoba as a Seminar Leader for ENG 1430, supporting engineering design education through engagement and instructional support. This part time role is scheduled for the fall.
As part of the Faculty of Agricultural & Food Sciences, you will have the responsibility of assisting in the Design in Engineering course, with 7 hours of work each week. Your duties include preparing instructional materials, attending lectures, and conducting consultations with students. This is an excellent prospect for a comprehensive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in course planning and coordination meetings
• Develop handouts, assignments, and tests for students
• Grade student submissions accurately and fairly
• Offer scheduled consultation times to address student queries
• Participate in enhancing instructional materials and experiments
Requirements:
• Relevant academic expertise for instructional support
• Empathetic communication style with students
• Proficiency in English for course engagement
• Full time enrollment at the University of Manitoba
• Valid work permit for international students
