Support B.C.’s developmental disabilities community as an Awake Night Staff with DDA. This part-time role provides essential overnight care in Vancouver and Richmond group homes.
DDA seeks compassionate individuals for casual positions as Awake Night Staff. You will create a safe environment and support residents in their growth and skill development. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to community involvement will contribute to your success in this fulfilling job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a comfortable overnight environment for residents
• Implement individualized support plans and training
• Assist with daily living and skill development activities
• Engage in physical assistance, including lifts
• Participate in training and career development events
Requirements:
• Completed Health Care Training Program
• 1-2 years relevant experience is preferred
• Certification in First Aid/CPR
• Valid Criminal Record and Medical Clearances
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
