In this full time position, you'll report to the Controller and lead the Accounts Payable team, ensuring efficient payment processes and adherence to corporate policies. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in accounts payable, solid analytical skills, and a commitment to process improvement. Engage in month-end closing, compliance audits, and oversee staff training on recent technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain systems, policies, and procedures in the AP department
• Monitor vendor payments and conduct analysis
• Collaborate with procurement and operations to improve workflows
• Research and implement best-in-class practices
• Conduct training for AP staff to enhance skills
Requirements:
• Degree in business with accounting focus preferred
• Minimum 5 years accounts payable experience
• Proven leadership and motivational skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is an asset
