Join our manufacturing team as a Full time Maintenance Technician – Power Engineer in Charlottetown, PEI. This position requires hands-on experience with maintenance and compliance within a regulated workplace.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be integral to maintaining production equipment and ensuring safety standards are met. This role encompasses preventative measures, troubleshooting, and thorough documentation of all maintenance activities. You will work on a rotating shift schedule that includes 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain all types of machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance logging in a CMMS system
• Interpret blueprints for equipment fabrication and modifications
• Repair chains, conveyors, and conduct welding tasks
• Maintain HVAC and other utility systems
Requirements:
• 4th class Stationary Engineer Certification necessary
• Background in GMP or food manufacturing is a plus
• Flexibility for night and weekend shifts
• Proficient in English communication
• Experience with HVAC systems valued
