Triumvirate Environmental seeks an Environmental Specialist to streamline hazardous waste disposal in Niagara Falls, ON. You will support clients in office and adhere to strict regulatory guidelines.
In this energetic role, you’ll gain knowledge of provincial waste regulations and lead efforts to manage hazardous waste disposal. Your skills in chemical compatibility and handling will ensure compliance and safety at various client locations. Travel within the Greater Toronto Area is expected with this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage hazardous materials following compliance regulations
• Safely prepare waste for transport and disposal
• Drive commercial vehicles for hazardous waste management
• Perform EHS audits and respond to spill incidents
• Participate in municipal hazardous waste events
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma or degree in environmental field
• Experience in customer service roles preferred
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Reliable transportation required
