Specialized Program Instructor, RCC – Drama

to support Fall/Winter/Spring Burlington Student Theatre programs for children and youth aged 4-17 years. Reporting to the Artistic Supervisor, Program & Theatre Services, this role is ideal for a passionate drama educator and theatre practitioner who enjoys working with young performers in a collaborative, creative, and supportive environment. This role is responsible for planning and delivering engaging drama-based instruction that develops participants' acting, improvisation, storytelling, character development, and performance skills. This role supports a variety of Burlington Student Theatre programs and productions, including mainstage shows at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. Working collaboratively with artistic program staff, directors, and support staff, this role fosters a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment while helping participants build confidence, performance skills, creativity, and stage presence throughout the rehearsal and performance process.
