Position Summary

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Diagnostic Medical Imaging Clerk to support the Diagnostic Medical Imaging department. In accordance with established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate Diagnostic Imaging Booking Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties related to the work of the Diagnostic Imaging department, such as scheduling and booking appointments, patient registration, receptionist functions, typing, requisitioning supplies, data entry, confirming and coordinating appointments and other related clerical duties. Qualfications

Grade 12. Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills and Abilities:

Ability to keyboard at 45 wpm. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Ability to organize work. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to operate related equipment. Where you will be working:
