Your main goal is to help us make sure nothing comes back due to quality problems.Responsibilities:Failure Analysis, including functional testingNon-Conformance Reporting and Management5S Laboratory HousekeepingSupport the Quality Engineers with Structured Problem SolvingReporting to Internal and External CustomersSupporting the RMA process by providing Failure Analysis details and re-work detailsAdditional support to the Quality ManagerBasic Qualifications:Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology or in a related field1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentLegally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorshipPreferredQualifications:B.Sc. in mechanical engineering or a related fieldExperience in a quality-related function (Failure Analysis, Structured Problem Solving)Knowledge of various manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, extruding, welding, additive manufacturing, surface treatment, etc.ASQ-certified CQT, or CQESkills:Working knowledge of mechanical & electro-mechanical components and systemsHands-on experience with mechanical assembly and disassembly and competent with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hand drill etc.)Analyzing CAD drawings and product functional & regulatory requirementsAbility to work individually, and as part of a cross-functional teamExcellent English language communication skills (verbal and written)Willingness to travel up 10% of the timeWHY COOLIT?We strive to be an employer of choice and as such we believe in rewarding our employees with career and development opportunities that will maintain and strengthen our culture while aligning to our vision and values.We are a company that is full of vibrant, innovative people who love what we do.
