Join Universal Group as a Health and Safety Advisor, where your expertise ensures the safety of personnel at traffic control worksites. This role combines safety coaching, compliance checks, and administrative responsibilities.
In this essential position, reporting to the Regional Manager-OHS, you will enhance workforce safety and compliance by supporting field staff, performing investigations, and overseeing safety regulations. With your experience in Occupational Health and Safety, you will address inquiries, conduct safety checks, and facilitate training programs to maintain a protected working workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach staff in protected operational practices
• Conduct investigations into safety incidents
• Perform routine site safety inspections
• Administer first aid and TCP responsibilities
• Collaborate with clients for regulatory compliance
Requirements:
• Certified Traffic Control Person (TCP) a must
• Hold a Class 5 Driver's License
• Experience with OHS Regulations important
• Level 2 First Aid or willingness to obtain
• Proficient with Health and Safety software
