Join Alpha House as a Beltline Outreach Worker, hybrid shifts from 4 PM to midnight. This role focuses on providing essential support for individuals struggling with addiction and homelessness.
As a permanent full time staff member, you'll engage directly with clients in various situations, ensuring they receive the advocacy and support they need. Solid case management and crisis-response skills are essential. Work alongside community partners and local services, delivering client-centered support tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct outreach and engage with clients compassionately
• Drive agency vehicles to transport clients to safety
• Perform housing assessments and maintain ethical standards
• Facilitate educational sessions with community partners
• Collaborate as part of a supportive team environment
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in relevant fields, or in progress
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and harm reduction
• Transparent Class 5 Non-GDL driver license and 3 years driving experience
• Proven crisis management abilities in outreach settings
• Ability to wear steel-toed footwear and navigate rough terrain
