Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting project managers, site supervisors, and field crews by ensuring projects are well-organized, properly documented, and executed efficiently. This role combines coordination, communication, and administrative responsibilities to support the successful delivery of projects from initiation through completion.

Reporting to: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Review and analyze contract documents, customer specifications, and blueprints
- Identify project constraints and recommend solutions to increase site efficiency.
- Attend pull plan meetings and weekly site update meetings; provide the customer updates on material status and installation schedule s.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure site readiness.
- Maintaining and update project schedules to reflect current timelines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project status logs for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in pricing and processing change orders, directives, and extra work orders, ensuring proper documentation and execution




- Coordinate communication between project managers, field teams, suppliers, and customers

Administrative Responsibilities

- Perform day‑to‑day administrative tasks including document control, filing, and record keeping
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, reports, and project documentation
- Assist with procurement activities including purchase orders and material tracking
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and properly archived

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in structural steel erection and miscellaneous steel installation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with project scheduling and coordination.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt in a quick‑paced environment.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
