As a Community Psychiatrist at The Medical Center, you will provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for patients with a broad range of mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred, evidence-based mental health care in a modern clinical workplace. Whether providing psychiatric consultations, managing chronic mental illness, developing treatment plans, or supporting preventative mental health initiatives, your expertise will play an essential role in improving the health and well-being of the Mission community.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.Manage patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions.Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications.Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate treatment modalities where applicable.Collaborate with family physicians, allied health professionals,
