In this role, the Public Health Nurse reports to the Manager of Public Health Nursing and operates autonomously. The nurse is responsible for assessments based on public health policies and standards. You'll implement programs to promote health and prevention, while collaborating with other health and community professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver community-based nursing services
• Conduct health assessments and evaluations
• Implement and manage health promotion initiatives
• Collaborate with health specialists and community groups
• Support public health advocacy efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)
• Registration or eligibility with CRNS
• Completion of Immunization Competencies Course
