Support youth in the Employment Support Program at YWCA Prince Albert. The full time position involves guiding young individuals facing barriers to securing employment or education.
As a permanent Employment Support Coordinator, you will report to the Community Connection Centre Manager. Your work will include coordinating program cohorts, facilitating workshops, and mentoring participants aged 16-29. A background in case management is essential, and experience with diverse and Indigenous communities will enhance your impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver career preparation programs to participants aged 16-29
• Arrange job shadowing and community referrals for employment
• Facilitate engaging group sessions and skills workshops
• Maintain program records and monitor participant progress
• Conduct assessments and support ETI applications
Requirements:
• 2+ years' experience in employment services case management
• Relevant post-secondary education or experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check required
