Join YMCA Chetwynd as an Early Childhood Educator, providing enriching experiences for young children. This permanent, full-time role includes implementing the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.
In this role, you'll work 40 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday, ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for children. Building strong relationships with families and colleagues is essential, as is delivering high-quality programs tailored to children's developmental stages. Your experience in early childhood will be fundamental to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement creative programming for children
• Establish positive relationships with children and their families
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of all learning environments
• Collaborate with teammates for smooth transitions
• Utilize communication app for daily updates to parents
Requirements:
• Basic ECE certification from a recognized program
• Preferred certification as a Special Needs Educator
• Solid verbal and written skills required
• Emergency First Aid and CPR-C certification needed
• Must pass a Criminal Record check
