You will be responsible for creating and implementing custom software, providing software administration, and collaborating with educational stakeholders. Your expertise will guide the development of technology systems that meet specific needs and enhance functionality. Continuous learning and upgrading of skills in emerging technologies are part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and design technology systems for the District
• Develop and support creative software applications
• Consult on information technology strategies for software use




• Maintain technical documentation for various software projects
• Engage with outside agencies and school site contacts
Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus relevant diploma and 7 years’ experience
• Certified as a Microsoft Database Administrator or Application Developer
• Proficient in SQL and software development practices
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Azure, and .NET
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
