This casual, part time position seeks a dedicated Physiotherapist for the Bone & Joint department. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and implement tailored treatment programs utilizing various therapeutic techniques. You will also supervise students and assistants while contributing to team goal-setting and effectiveness evaluation.
Key Responsibilities: • Assess and diagnose patients with functional impairments • Develop holistic treatment programs using diverse modalities • Educate patients, families,
and caregivers on treatment options • Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants • Collaborate with health specialists for patient management
Requirements: • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent • Membership with Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification • Experience in inpatient acute care is an asset • Competency in French is preferred
