Parkland School Division is hiring a part-time Division Community Support Worker in Stony Plain, Alberta. This role provides essential support to families and enhances students' educational experiences, focusing on holistic well-being and community connection.
In this Regular (10-month) part-time position, you will play a pivotal role in the Student Supports and Services team. Reporting to the Division Principal, your responsibilities will include providing guidance and assistance to families and students in accessing community resources and support services. You will help facilitate important workshops and maintain ongoing communication with educational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver family supports and connections to services
• Organize parent/student meetings as needed




• Collaborate with community agencies for resource access
• Facilitate regular learning sessions for parents
• Document all necessary communications and reports
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in a related field
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience desired
• Experience with inter-agency communication
• Knowledge of social-emotional learning strategies
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
