Join Halton Women's Place as a Community Educator dedicated to raising awareness around violence prevention and healthy masculinity. This flexible role includes virtual and in-person presentations across Halton Region.
This temporary part-time position aims to develop and deliver impactful programs for boys, men, and male allies. You will work collaboratively to design curriculum, facilitate discussions, and create initiatives that engage participants in meaningful conversations about respectful relationships. Your expertise will help challenge societal norms and foster discussions centered on gender equality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop educational programs for schools and community groups
• Coordinate classroom and community workshops
• Cultivate partnerships with local social services
• Lead educational outreach initiatives
• Prepare program reports for supervisory review
Requirements:
• Background in Education or related experience
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social justice concepts
• Access to a personal vehicle for travel
