Learning Coach & Mentor Education Futures Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Coach & Mentor to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will work with children, young people and adults across Hastings and Rother, providing alternative learning opportunities, mentoring and personalised support that help individuals overcome barriers, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.
This is a varied and flexible role where no two days are the same. You will develop strong relationships with the people we support, delivering engaging activities and interventions that promote learning, personal development and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
Deliver alternative learning projects and activities that address both social and academic needs.
Plan and facilitate engaging sessions for individuals and groups.
Provide mentoring, guidance and tailored support to help participants progress.
Build positive, trusting relationships while maintaining qualified boundaries.
Monitor progress, maintain records and provide feedback to participants and stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with schools, families, external agencies and funding partners.
Promote secure, inclusive and supportive learning environments.
Travel regularly to off-site learning activities and programmes.
