West Vancouver's Community Services Department is hiring three part-time Aquatic Leaders. Reporting to Aquatic Program Coordinators, you'll supervise staff, ensure pool and waterfront safety, assist in operations, and manage customer inquiries. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and one year of lifeguard and swimming instruction experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and develop aquatic staff through training
• Assist with pool and waterfront operations
• Handle customer service inquiries effectively




• Take responsibility for facility operations as needed
• Maintain a secure and engaging aquatic workplace
Requirements:
• High school diploma completion
• Minimum one year as lifeguard and swimming instructor
• Knowledge of pool operations and supervisory experience
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR Level C, AED
• Microsoft Office Suite and RecStaff knowledge is an asset
