Operations Team Lead – Milton

Short Term Contract: 4 Weeks, with potential to extend.

$28 – $33 per hour, based on experience.

Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Location: Milton, ON – James Snow Parkway / Regional Rd.

Responsibilities
Assist senior leaders to improve customer satisfaction, distribution performance, and customer retention.
Collaborate with internal departments to drive continuous process improvement.
Identify, analyze, and resolve a wide range of issues, providing quick and decisive solutions within existing policies and identifying the need for policy revision or creation.
Assess warehouse management technologies to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency in the distribution center.
Direct overall safety functions of the distribution center.

Qualifications




Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable experience preferred.
3‑5 years of managing multiple functions within a manufacturing or distribution facility, specifically coordinating order picking and stock‑keeping functions.
Minimum 2 years of lead or supervisor experience.
Minimum 2 years of operating warehouse equipment, including order picker; stand‑up reach, sit‑down reach, and swing reach experience a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of positive warehouse practices and principles.
Solid computer skills (PC and main‑frame applications).
Robust verbal and written communication skills.
