Join OFIFC as an Instructor specializing in anti-Indigenous racism education, focusing on cutting-edge learning strategies. Deliver both online and in-person programs aimed at empowering urban Indigenous communities through education.
In this essential role, you'll assess and design educational programs that disrupt systemic racism. With at least two years of instructional experience, you will use your background to create curricula that resonate with diverse adult learners. Partnering with Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, your instruction will reflect cultural values and facilitate learner success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver workshops on anti-Indigenous racism
• Engage with Elders to enhance educational practices




• Conduct assessments and facilitate discussions in classes
• Collaborate with peers to maintain instructional quality
• Contribute to curriculum materials and reports
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Indigenous Studies
• Familiarity with anti-racism and decolonizing pedagogy
• Minimum 1 year working within Indigenous organizations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Advanced writing capabilities for educational content
