As a co-op student in this full time lab role, you will collaborate with experienced technicians at Gibson Energy’s Edmonton terminal. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in chemistry, environmental science, or similar disciplines. Your contributions will support routine testing, protected sample handling, and effective lab documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine testing and analysis of terminal products
Assist with sample preparation, documentation, and disposal
Maintain records for all assigned lab activities




Help organize laboratory supplies and perform housekeeping
Participate in preventative maintenance tasks as directed

Requirements:
Enrollment in a chemistry or related co-op program
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork
Understanding of lab safety and sample handling procedures
Familiarity with lab instruments is advantageous
