Report directly to the VP of Operations in this vital recent position. Your expertise will drive compliance, risk management, and promote a proactive health and safety culture. Showcasing strong leadership and excellent communication skills, you will develop and effectively deploy safety strategies, manage hazard prevention methods, and facilitate training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead safety strategy and compliance initiatives
Develop and manage safety management systems
Conduct risk assessments and implement hazard prevention




Oversee the PPE program and training communications
Prepare the company for emergency scenarios and improvements

Requirements:
CRSP or CRST certification required
Minimum 10 years in Health and Safety in manufacturing
Strong grasp of safety legislation and standards
Proven ability to build relationships at all levels
Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills
