Drive social change and foster inclusion with the Canadian Mental Health Association – Peel Dufferin Branch as an Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility Strategist. Influence lasting change in a hybrid workplace focused on mental health and community support.

This permanent full time role reports to the Director of People and Culture. The EDIA Strategist will lead comprehensive strategies that elevate equity, diversity, and inclusion within CMHA Peel Dufferin. Collaborate with leaders to provide resources and implement initiatives to promote belonging and enhance workforce equity.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop EDI and accessibility strategies for the organization
Provide strategic guidance to leadership and management
Co-chair the internal Health Equity committee




Collaborate on initiatives enhancing engagement and retention
Analyze and simplify strategic planning information

Requirements:
Post-secondary education in relevant fields
Minimum 3 years of experience in inclusive workplaces
Familiarity with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
Proven understanding of racism and intersectionality
Robust interpersonal skills and empathy across diverse communities
