This permanent position focuses on leading edge AI model training and hardware efficiency. Work with both internal and external teams to design foundational model architecture for Large Language Models and Multimodal applications. The role involves developing state-of-the-art models and establishing benchmarks in distributed training infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead foundational model architecture design for various AI fields
Develop productive AI models with industry impact
Propose technical requirements for distributed training infrastructures
Analyze computational characteristics of architectures
Collaborate with teams to enhance training efficiency
Requirements:
Experience in training AI models with over 10B parameters
Proficiency in AI architectures and framework implementation
Familiarity with GPU, NPU, and TPU architectures
PhD in AI or computer architecture is an asset
Robust publication record in AI systems is a plus
