In this position, you will collaborate with regional power system teams to lead projects and contribute to business development efforts. Your expertise in transmission planning is vital in accommodating the rising demand from data centers and meeting energy transition targets within the Northeast U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct various power system studies and analyses
Lead project initiatives across all lifecycle stages
Work with utilities for project delivery and proposals
Attend ISO/RTO forums and stay updated on standards
Coordinate with colleagues in North America and beyond
Requirements:
Advanced degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering
At least 4 years of modeling with PSS/E, TARA, or PSCAD
Robust familiarity with regional system operators
Knowledge of NERC, FERC, and NPCC regulations
Capacity for travel within North America
