Become an Occupational Health Nurse at Providence Care Hospital. This temporary full-time role focuses on promoting workplace safety and health compliance within a supportive workplace.
In this position, you will report directly to the Director of Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness. Responsibilities include managing disability claims, facilitating return-to-work strategies, and ensuring compliance with health protocols. Your clinical expertise will provide essential support to various stakeholders in complex health-related situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage disability and sick claims with clarity and expertise • Conduct assessments for workplace accommodations due to health issues • Develop and implement health and wellness programs • Collaborate with the Accommodation Committee on employee strategies • Maintain communicable disease surveillance and infection protocols
Requirements: • Current and unrestricted RN registration in Ontario • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Occupational Health Nurse • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred • Occupational Health Nursing Diploma or equivalent considered • Certified Occupational Health Nurse designation preferred
