As an early-career attorney at Elastic, you'll assist with patent prosecution, working closely with the product and engineering teams. You'll play a critical role in identifying inventions and managing the IP portfolio, contributing to both compliance and brand protection strategies in a quick-moving environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Support patent prosecution and assist in invention harvesting • Help manage global trademarks and copyrights • Assist with brand enforcement and domain disputes • Ensure product regulatory compliance across teams • Manage open-source licensing and compliance matters
Requirements: • 2–5+ years of experience in IP law • Degree in a technical field, preferably software-related • Must be admitted to the Patent Bar • Experience with patent application drafting • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly
