Role Description

FM Electrical Services is looking for a reliable and skilled Part-Time Electrician to join our team in Toronto.

This is an on-site, hands-on role focused primarily on industrial electrical work, with opportunities to support commercial and residential projects as needed. Responsibilities include electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and service calls.

Hours may vary depending on project needs, with flexible scheduling available. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is dependable, adaptable and comfortable working in both independent and team-oriented environments.

We also encourage early-career electricians who are looking to build their experience in the field to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, primarily in industrial environments
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Complete service calls and support electrical installations
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents




- Ensure work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and applicable safety requirements
- Maintain tools and equipment in positive working condition
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors and team members
- Document completed work and project updates
- Support commercial and residential projects when required
- Support occasional after-hours or weekend work based on project needs

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario electrician licence or relevant certification
- Hands-on electrical experience, with industrial experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Experience using electrical tools, meters and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
- Reliable, organized and able to manage time effectively
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Customer service or client-facing work experience is an asset
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
