As an Occupancy Specialist, reporting to the Compliance Director, you will engage directly with tenants and manage essential leasing processes. Key duties encompass conducting property inspections, processing tenant applications, and ensuring timely collection of rents. Additionally, you will coordinate maintenance requests and maintain detailed records to support property operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately collect rents and handle deposits
• Show apartments and follow through on leasing applications
• Inspect properties for maintenance and safety purposes
• Manage tenant relations and address concerns
• Maintain efficient administrative and financial records
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Solid customer service acumen is essential
• Proficient in MS Office applications; Yardi experience is advantageous
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Background in Tax Credit or Section 8 is a plus
