As a Guidewire developer, you’ll be part of a development team supporting a strategic transformation initiative in property and casualty insurance. You’ll contribute to the evolution of the Guidewire platform by developing, configuring and integrating solutions that meet the organization’s business needs. You’ll work closely with business analysts, developers, architects, quality assurance specialists and business partners to design and deliver reliable, high‑performing and scalable solutions. You’ll play an active role in developing new features, optimizing existing solutions and ensuring the continued quality of our applications. You’ll contribute to the evolution of Guidewire development practices by applying industry best practices in software development, integration and automation.ResponsibilitiesMore specifically, you will be required to:Participate in the technical analysis of business needs and functional requirements to support solution designDevelop, configure and maintain Guidewire solutions using Gosu, Java and the platform’s toolsDevelop integrations with internal and external systems in accordance with established technical standardsParticipate in the configuration of products, business rules and operational processes within GuidewirePerform unit testing and collaborate on integration testing to help deliver high-quality solutionsParticipate in code reviews and apply established development, security and quality standardsContribute to deployment, production release and solution stabilization activitiesAnalyze and resolve incidents, defects and application issues encountered during development or in productionCollaborate with business analysts, architects,
