Drive critical opioid treatment research as a Youth-Centered Research Assistant at UBC's Barbic Laboratory. Your role involves community engagement and data validation focusing on youth services.
As a Research Assistant, you'll engage in planning and validating a youth-centered model of care for opioid agonist treatment. Responsibilities include collaborating with service providers, attending youth advisory meetings, and participating in knowledge translation initiatives. Your work will have a direct impact on improving care models in British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate planning for community presentations and workshops
• Analyze feedback from service providers
• Participate in youth and family advisory discussions




• Assist with knowledge translation efforts
• Contribute to a collaborative and effective team environment
Requirements:
• High school diploma plus two years of experience
• Familiarity with mental health and substance use issues
• Solid commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
