EILERS DANCE THEATRE IS SEEKING REHEARSAL DIRECTORS

EILERS Dance Theatre is seeking Rehearsal Directors to join us on a project-by-project basis and support the ongoing development, rehearsal, remounting and touring of our repertoire.

We are a touring dance-theatre company creating work at the intersections of dance, theatre, storytelling, well-being and personal expression. Our mission is to ignite social reflection and change through transformative performance that challenges norms, inspires dialogue and makes space for radical personal and collective truths.

At the heart of our work is collaboration and the co-creation of a culture of care.

Our creative processes make space for communication, check-ins, quiet reflection, breaks, rest, experimentation, failure and adjustment. We work intentionally to create environments where artists can take risks, listen to themselves and one another, and feel genuinely valued and supported.





We are looking for people who are excited by this way of working and who can bring a thoughtful outside eye to the room while supporting the artistic integrity, detail and continuity of our productions.

- Location: Primarily Toronto and the GTA, with opportunities to tour
- Rate: $35–$50/hour, depending on experience
- Schedule: Project-based, generally working in week-long rehearsal blocks
- Touring: We usually travel with an outside eye/rehearsal director
- Availability: We are not yet a full time company and will work with your availability. We may contract several people for this role.

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. There is no deadline.
