Job Title: - Delivery Driver – 1 Class 1A, 2 Class 5

Employment: - Full time

Minimum Experience: - 2 years driving experience

Wages: - Depend upon experience

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare and review orders prior to delivery.
- Match incoming and outgoing product with purchase order.
- Perform vehicle inspection before departing.
- Transport, unload and deliver items in a protected and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage or loss.
- Adhere to time and route schedules.
- Check orders after delivery to ensure all orders have been accurately completed.
- Ensure delivery vehicle is maintained in a clean and safe operating condition.
- Drives will typically be 4-6 hours in length.

Required Skills and Qualification.

- Class 1A license or Air brake endorsement certificate and clean driver abstract.
- Experience in driving 5-ton truck.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 75lbs) using safe lifting methods.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate record for deliveries and tracking.
