The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Barista to deliver exceptional coffee and hospitality at House of McGrath. You'll prepare high-quality beverages while supporting front-of-house service and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. Perfect for hospitality professionals with robust barista skills and previous experience as a server, busser, or hostess.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, coffee, tea, and other menu items with consistency and attention to quality.
- Provide warm, attentive guest service while taking orders and responding to guest requests.
- Support front-of-house operations, including serving, bussing, seating guests, and maintaining smooth service during peak times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, service areas, and guest spaces.
- Restock supplies and ensure the bar is prepared for efficient daily service.
- Work closely with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to create a seamless guest experience.
- Follow health/safety protocols and assist with opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

- 1+ years of professional barista experience.
- Previous experience as a server, busser, hostess, or in a similar front-of-house restaurant role.
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee service.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting.




- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support different areas of service as needed.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.
